Personal liabilities, debts and loans

Q1)

I had a question about paying Zakat with a credit card. I wanted to know whether this is accepted. I pay off my balance every month and so accrue no interest, the only difference between this and paying a cheque/debit card is receiving (unimportant) points from spending on my credit card, and that the money leaves my account slightly later.

Ideally one should pay with debit card or bank transfer since this is instantaneous and when it comes to Zakat, the sooner the better once it's been calculated. Can't say it's wrong to pay with credit card of course, especially as you habitually clear your balance and the charity will receive the funds and can start to use them, but the sooner you can pay into your credit card for the Zakat amount, the safer it is.
